Peugeot company has presented official photos and the information on the fastest updating of the hatchback 308 which have received the name «308 GTi». The "charged" car will be accessible only in five-door variant.

The novelty will receive the 200-strong engine in volume of 1,6 litres, 275Nm possessing the twisting moment in a range from 1700 to 4500rpm. The engine will be aggregated with a 6-step mechanical transmission.

Peugeot 308 GTi also will receive the suspension bracket (underestimated on 10mm), other options of shock-absorbers, and also 18-inch wheels (with tyres of dimension 225/40) and new brake mechanisms with 340mm disks in front and 290mm behind.
